Today my partner and I set up the experiment by constructing a self sustaining ecosystem inside of combined pieces of plastic liter bottles. There is water and gravel at the bottom with a string to carry the water from the bottom up to the soil, which contains seeds for grass. We hope to see our first sprout by Friday.

My Name is Ethan Edwards, I am a junior at Hebron High School.
Over the next few months I will be documenting an experiment in which I try to create a self sustaining ecosystem and watch it change over time.
